Vets Journey Home (vetsjourneyhome.org) is proud to be working with Camp American Legion to offer a residential retreat in the great Wisconsin Northwoods. Any Wisconsin resident veteran is eligible to attend.
This week-long retreat offers a special version of Vets Journey Home that will begin on Monday evening September 17, 2012. Participants will check into Camp American Legion on Monday afternoon. The Vets Journey Home program will start after dinner on Monday evening.
Vets Journey Home will continue through Wednesday evening. On Thursday, participants will get to rest, fish and cruise on the pontoon boat or feed the critters at Chipmunk Crossing.
Starting on Friday evening, and running through Sunday noon, participants will be invited to attend the VJH peer facilitator training that will be conducted by member of the VJH staff who is a Certified Peer Specilist.
Participants may also just stay for more R&R until the Camp week is over on Sunday morning if they choose to do so.
